(一)介绍Jaspereport及报表制作工具Ireport
引用JASPERSOFT COMMUNITY网站的一段话：

“The JasperReports Library is the world's most popular open source reporting engine. It is entirely written in Java and it is able to use data coming from any kind of data source and produce pixel-perfect documents that can be viewed, printed or exported in a variety of document formats including HTML, PDF, Excel, OpenOffice and Word.”

JasperReports库是目前世界上最流行的开源的报表引擎。这是完全用Java编写的，它是能够使用任何类型的数据源的数据，并可以生成包括HTML，PDF，Excel等多种格式的文档，在平时的办公软件中可以预览打印。

百度百科已经对Jaspereport和ireport图形工具有很好的介绍。就不做赘述了。

关于文档，jasperreport是开源的，这给我们带来很大方便，文档是要钱的。
我自己有一些Jaspereport和ireport的中文使用文档，但我也会在群组里发帖详细介绍各自使用，比看文档来的快，但有需要文档的给电邮地址我亦可提供。

我自己使用的版本是jasperreports-3.7.0，ireport是ireport3.6.0。
值得一提的是ireport有些版本制作的报表模板文件在jaspereport的有些版本库中使用有些问题。
