MySQL启动问题
操作系统为FC6，安装系统的同时安装MySQL的，但启动不了，问题如下：

[root@localhost   ~]#   rpm   -q   mysql
mysql-5.0.22-2.1
[root@localhost   ~]#   mysqladmin   version
mysqladmin:   connect   to   server   at   'localhost '   failed
error:   'Can 't   connect   to   local   MySQL   server   through   socket   '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock '   (2) '
Check   that   mysqld   is   running   and   that   the   socket:   '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock '   exists!
[root@localhost   ~]#   mysqld_safe   -user=root
Starting   mysqld   daemon   with   databases   from   /var/lib/mysql
STOPPING   server   from   pid   file   /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid
070516   16:50:08     mysqld   ended
[root@localhost   ~]#   mysql
ERROR   2002   (HY000):   Can 't   connect   to   local   MySQL   server   through   socket  
'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock '   (2)
[root@localhost   ~]#   mysql   -u   root   -p
Enter   password:  
ERROR   2002   (HY000):   Can 't   connect   to   local   MySQL   server   through   socket  

'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock '   (2)
[root@localhost   ~]#  

用find   -name   "xxx "命令找不到mysql.sock和mysql.server。是什么问题呢？

你要先启动mysql服务啊!

你安装系统时装的我的fc6也是安装系统时安装的启动没问题啊,你在启动时点显示细节,看看有一项mysql启动应该是成功的那使用就没问题.
