Database version error when installing 10.1.3.1 SOA with 11g Oracle Database [ID 1140714.1]

You are trying to?install 10.1.3.1 SOA with 11g Oracle database and a?pop-up appears with the following error:
ERROR

"Database version should be 9.2.0.7 or higher in the Oracle 9i Database?
Release 2 series, 10.1.0.5 or higher in the Oracle Database 10g Release 1?
series, Oracle Database XE (10.2.0.1), 10.2.0.2 or higher in the Oracle?
Database 10g Release 2 series."
This error is caused by one or all of the followings:
1. If the error appears before running IRCA then you maybe facing unpublished BUG 12118056 - 10.1.3.1 SOA INSTALL FAILS AGAINST 11G DATABASE
2. If?you have?JDK 1.6 installed?and the error appears when running IRCA then you are facing?unpublished Bug 8667108 BASE SOA 10135 IRCA AGAINST 10G DATABASE

1. If you are facing BUG 12118056 - 10.1.3.1 SOA INSTALL FAILS AGAINST 11G DATABASE, then please download and?apply Patch 6265268.
2. If you are facing Bug 8667108 - BASE SOA 10135 IRCA AGAINST 10G DATABASE, then?use the following work around:
?? 2.1. Set your JAVA_HOME environment variable to a jdk1.5 or 1.4 installation.
?? 2.2. Run the IRCA script.
?? 2.3. Set your JAVA_HOME back to jdk1.6
